A 2-car crash on the main Newport to Sandown road is causing delays between Apse Heath and Lake this lunchtime (Monday).
Police and paramedics are on scene on the A3056 Newport Road near to Sandown Airport.
Island Echo understands a Hyundai has collided with the rear of a VW in what has been described as a minor smash.
Traffic heading west towards Apse Heath is backing up towards Broadlea, although delays heading eastbound are less significant.
UPDATE – 1 person has sustained a minor injury, Police say.
The scene has now been cleared.
