There are delays on a major coastal route this afternoon following a 2 vehicle crash.
The incident has occurred at the Chale of Military Road, with emergency service personnel first called at around 15:45.
Island Echo understands that a van travelling along Military Road has collided with a vehicle pulling out from Southdown – a road leading to the hamlet of Pyle.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area for the time being with traffic building.

Such a busy road, probably no other vehicles about for miles and they manage to crash into each other. Marvellous!
Usually due to Numpty’s speeding
vehicles appear from nowhere.
It’s about time something was done about
speeding along the Military Road.

it has alread been explained to you, in researched detail, that ‘parking permits’ would not raise any significant amount of revenue.
you seem to think that the mainland is full of 20mph speed limts & speed cameras,.. all funded by parking permits…
