What really happened?
Well, according to data from Nansen Analytics, over $1.096 billion in Ethereum was removed from circulation. It has been said that the ETH burn was caused by the large (NFT) Nonfungible Tokens transactions on OpenSea.
In January, there was an increase in NFT transactions to about $3.5 billion. According to Ultra Sound Money, Ethereum currently ranks number one on the burn leaderboard. In second and third places were burn tokens from ETH transactions and factivity on a decentralized exchange known as Uniswap of about $98.6 million and $66.9 million, respectively.
