The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance has recently completed its 12,000th air rescue mission in a little over 16 years since it first launched.
Starting on 1st July 2007, the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance has responded to more than 17,500 emergency missions across Hampshire, the Isle of Wight and surrounding areas by air and road including cardiac arrests, falls from height and assaults.
The charity, which relies on donations, now averages 5 call-outs each day across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.
