Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes are calling on children at their St George’s Gate developments to get creative for National Christmas Jumper Day on Friday 11th December.
The housebuilders have launched a festive trail and competition in celebration of the annual woolly pullover day, to bring some Christmas cheer to neighbourhoods across the region.
The trail will be held at the housing developments in Shide, Newport and will see a flurry of Christmas jumpers displayed on residents’ windows.
The printed designs will be coloured in by children living at St George’s Gate, who have each been armed with enough supplies from the housebuilders, to let their imaginations run wild.
All children that enter will receive a special Christmas treat from the Barratt and David Wilson Homes’ elves – with 5 lucky children winning £100 worth of Amazon vouchers.
Coinciding with National Christmas Jumper Day, Newport locals are encouraged to visit the developments to follow the trail and see the wonderful entries on display.
Tammy Bishop, Sales Director at Barratt and David Wilson Homes, said:
“Our team will be donning their very own Christmas jumpers to judge the entries and can’t wait to see the fantastic designs our St George’s Gate children have created.
“This is an important date on our Christmas calendar, and even though we are unable to gather with all our friends and family this year, we can still keep the Christmas spirit alive.”
This year the housebuilders will also be supplying all new residents with a ‘Santa Safety Kit’ so that homeowners can be rest assured that Santa will be able to visit their homes safely this year.
