For the very first time, Yarmouth will this year welcome visitors to enjoy ice skating in the square – a unique, magical Christmas experience like no other.
‘Yarmouth on Ice’ is a new venture that is set to bring some festive cheer and fun to the town, whilst raising vital funds for local charities.
After a really tough Christmas in 2020 and 2 years of uncertainty, local businesses decided they wanted to give something back to the community. All profits will go to Island charities.
From Saturday 11th December to Wednesday 22nd December a traditional festive experience will be on offer including all weather ice skating in the Christmas marquee in the square with free skate hire included in the booking price. The ice rink will use the latest synthetic technology with music, lights and snow for that extra festive spirit.
Late night shopping will be on offer on 18th and 22nd December, with Christmas lights and decorations throughout the town. There will also be carols in the square with the Salvation Army on Saturday 18th December at 18:00.
