Isle of Wight-based WRS Systems have raised a staggering £1,500 for local charity WightAid following a group cycle that saw the team complete 500 miles in a single day!
The local business took the time to organise a static cycling event that saw the fundraisers cycle the equivalent of 25 times around the Island with the target of 500 miles in 8 hours.
Emma Wilson, WRS’s Business Development Manager said:
“Wightaid is WRS’s chosen charity of the year for 2020 and we couldn’t be happier with our choice.
“With the current climate, they have been doing some remarkable work over the past few months supporting fundamental parts of the local community. It was only right we tried to give something back and help them on their mission.
“We are blown away with the support and donations we received, achieving our target – the team done a fantastic job!”
