Ryde Frogs put up a spirited fight against Wroxall, with Steve Laing in particularly good form in his singles and doubles along with Kevin Fraser. However, Wroxall’s Andrew Bailey continues to dominate the players’ averages and is unbeaten this season. The match ended 6-4 to Wroxall.

Ryde C continue to dominate the 1st Division, with an 8-2 victory over third placed Havenstreet A.
Ryde’s Paul Rainford was player of the match and unbeaten, whilst team mate Ryan Cates also won all 3, despite close games against Michael Bulpitt and Keith Baker.
Ryde B had an easy win over Newport Vics B, with Newport’s Charlie Stapeley the only player to score a win for his team, against Bryce Wilson. Ryde’s Alex Rorke was player of the match.

In Division 2, the leaders Ryde Revellers put Shorwell Spinners in their place with a 10-0 victory to increase their lead at the top of the table.
The Reveller’s Spike Hughes was player of the match, winning all his games in straight sets.
Havenstreet B continued their good form with an 8-2 win over Newport Vics B, with Dave Rendle unbeaten and player of the match.
Newport Vics C had an excellent win over Ryde Quintet, with Newport’s Dave Newnham unbeaten. Ryde’s best player was William Paul, with 2 wins, and a doubles victory with team mate Des Wiltshire against Michael Jose and Paul Lewis, and the score ended 7-3 to Newport.
