Fans of the ultra-popular Netflix series Squid Game are being given a chance to win free seafood – maybe even some squid – as Love Seafood partners with Isle of Wight based J&Bs for its very own ‘Squid Game’ tomorrow (Saturday) between 09:00-12:30.
The rules are simple. In a fishified homage to the classic honeycomb carving scene in the show, a giant poster bearing symbols that will be familiar to fans has been placed on the wall of J&B. Players simply need to pick a symbol, then choose a card from the fishmonger. Should the symbol they have chosen match the card they pick, they will win a £10 voucher to spend on seafood. There are £250 worth of vouchers available.
In a twist on events, repercussions for those who don’t beat the J&B team should be no worse than the mild sting of disappointment at not pocketing a £10 voucher.
The event is taking place at 111 High Street, Cowes from 9:00-12:30 – or while stocks last.
Love Seafood is on a mission to bring on better living by encouraging people across the UK to incorporate more seafood into their diets. The team has devised the giveaway to help people discover the amazing simplicity and versatility of fish and shellfish.

oh shut up, they look like a local business, go and eat some grass or something then. I only eat cod and haddock myself, but this is a good incentive, even though “Squid Game” is an adult series, I question the fact that many kids will ask what it is!!!! and find out, maybe move the poster inside the shop. Squid Game is violent in the extreme.
