Liphook and Ripsley 260-7 – Ventnor 259-4
Batting first, Ventnor lost both openers cheaply with Namish Verma scoring just 6 runs and Dineth Thimodya out for a duck. Rob Snell and Martin Blackman then put on a 131 partnership before Snell was stumped for 69. Blackman went on to top score with 118 not out off 143 balls including 8 4s and 2 6s, Ventnor reaching a total of 259 off their 50 overs.
In reply, Liphook & Ripley surpassed Ventnor’s total with just 2 balls and 3 wickets remaining.

Ventnor II 167-4 Cadmore Sports III 166 all out
Ventnor restricted Cadmore Sports to 166 all out off 43 overs. Mark Fletcher was the pick of the Ventnor bowlers with figures of 3-7. Jack Powell also picked up 3-33, with Charlie Turpin taking a brace of wickets.
Ventnor overcame the Cadmore total with 13 overs and 4 wickets to spare. Mark Fletcher top scored with a knock of 74 not out.
The Island side’s win leaves them 2nd in Hampshire Division 4 (South) with a 100% record in the season to date.

Old Basing 232-7 Ryde 169 all out
Batting 1st, Old Basing made 232 from their 50 overs with captain Darren Turner making an unbeaten knock of 84.
In reply, Ryde scored 169 before being bowled out in the 48th over. Matt Webb was the top scorer for Ryde with 25 runs.
Defeat leaves Ryde bottom of Hampshire Division 1 with 13 points from their 3 games.
Ryde II 163-9 Kerala II 100 all out
Ryde 2nd XI picked up their 2nd win of the season by beating Kerala at Harding Shute by 63 runs. Ryde made 163-9 in their 45 overs with Tom Roscoe top scoring with a knock of 63.
Kerala were bowled out for 160, with Mark Tuckwell producing the best bowling figures of 3-23.
Ryde’s win leaves them in 6th place in Hampshire Division 3 (South) with 53 points from 3 games.
Shanklin & Godshill 79-3 Cadnam 78 all out
On winning the toss, Shanklin chose to bowl, and after 12 overs Cadman were 47-1, looking set for a decent score with Ryan Cooper looking set for a big score. His dismissal for 30 and an inspired spell from Harry Moore, who took 3 for 13, led to Cadman being dismissed for 78 in 36 overs.
When Shanklin batted they were never troubled, reaching the victory target in 16 overs, with Seb Read finishing 31 not out, as Shanklin achieved their 3rd win from 3 games.
Victory leaves Shanklin in 3rd place in Division 3 (South) with 69 points, 1 point behind leaders Calmore Sports 2nd XI.
