Ventnor – who are celebrating their 175th anniversary this year – will welcome Hampshire to Steephill for a prestigious T20 match on Wednesday (4th June), starting at 15:00.
Within a busy schedule of Rothesay County Championship and Vitality Blast commitments, Hampshire have nevertheless included a nucleus of first team players in their squad for the commemorative fixture, a gesture greatly appreciated by the host club.
Skipper Ben Brown, Kyle Abbott, Mark Stoneman, Nick Gubbins, Fletcha Middleton and Felix Organ are all shortlisted to appear in a side managed by former Ventnor captain Charlie Freeston, now Head of Player Development at the Utilita Bowl.
Entrance to the game is free for spectators with a licensed bar and hot food available from 14:00.
Ventnor are grateful to Graham Benson, Club President and wife Christine for their sponsorship of the game.
