Lake Parish Council is counting the cost after another series of anti-social incidents at its New Road toilets.
This latest incident has seen blood smeared throughout on the walls of the accessible toilet, as well as equipment damaged and toilet rolls positioned to start a fire.
Parish Chair, Councillor Paul Brading said:
“This ongoing criminality impacts on disabled people, young families that need to use the facility, and the wider community in terms of costs and the consequences of a potential fire.”
The Parish Council have supplied Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary with images of those responsible, and the damage to the door and equipment has resulted in the amenity being temporarily shut until repairs can be made.
Cllr Brading added:
“Residents were supportive in the need to invest in new facilities, and are equally supportive in helping the Parish Council, and the Police, hold those responsible to account and face the consequences of their actions.”
Blood sample, DNA test ????
Because, obviously, everybody’s DNA is already on file? Kids bar-coded at birth now, are they?
Don’t give this Government any ideas.
No gov’t would do it. Think of the amount of descendants those in the upper echelons would have to fight through the courts…..
All those ‘single muvvers’ who back in the day who clearly chose to wantonly seduce the poor, unsuspecting squire, and then his son, brother, guests….all so she could be sacked instantly when pregnant and then be shunned by the rest of polite society and live her life in abject poverty, hoping a man, any man, would marry her and keep her (and her child) from the workhouse.
Yeah, not likely. The compensatory payout would be crippling for them all.

most crime is committed by recidivists, so there is a good chance their DNA is on file. If not, and they are arrested at a later date for something else, this incident should pop up. Assuming it’s human blood.
Islandwide CCTV is required, and what is it with
numpties on the island, they seem to like to hang
around toilets.
Catch them and it’s time to re-open Borstals, even better
conscript them into the army, teach them sone discipline.
Also STOP their benefits.
