UPDATED: Police on the Isle of Wight have issued an urgent appeal for information to help locate 34-year-old Joanne Thorp, who went missing from West London yesterday (Monday).
Hampshire Constabulary say they are concerned for Joanne’s welfare. They believe she may be on the Isle of Wight, but have not specified an area.
Joanne, who has been deemed ‘high risk’, suffers from chronic fatigue syndrome and ligament damage in her left knee. She is described as white, 5ft 7in tall with red hair and blue eyes.
The appeal comes exactly a year to the day since fellow London resident Robert Gibson went missing. He was last seen at the Co-Operative store in Shanklin, but has not been seen since.
Anyone who sees Joanne is asked to call Police immediately on 999, quoting incident number 701.
UPDATE WEDNESDAY @ 11:30 – Hampshire Constabulary have confirmed that missing Joanne Thorp has been found safe and well.
UPDATE WEDNESDAY @ 20:15 – The family of Joanne Thorp say she has gone missing again. She is still being deemed ‘high risk’.
Joanne’s family say she was last seen leaving a B&B this morning, but has not been seen since. She is thought to still be on the Island.
