The Little Cow Shed in Havenstreet has undergone a major transformation this Summer with a new shed installed, which is more than double the size of the old one and an ever-increasing range of products available.
The small business has gone from strength to strength since Island Echo first reported on it more than a decade ago when it opened to allow Island residents and visitors alike to quickly and conveniently stop off for daily essentials produced locally.
Now, as well as the bigger shed, the car park has significantly expanded allowing room for more customers.
The George family, which has owned the independent dairy at Coppid Hall Farm since early last century, produces fresh milk on-site and also stocks a range of other local produce such as potatoes, eggs, honey, jams and delicious cakes from Wight Bakes.
It operates an ‘honesty-box’ model for both cash and card, which is simple and easy to use.
The Little Cow Shed can be found on the main Havenstreet road prior to the junction with Firestone Copse Road (PO33 4DH).

All hail the Clarkson’s Farm of the IOW. Fabulous!
