UPDATED: Police are currently attending a 3-car collision at Apse Heath, which is leading to some delays in the area this morning (Tuesday).
No one has been injured in the incident, which has occurred at the junction of Winford Road and Princelett Shute – known as Branstone Cross. Emergency services were alerted to the crash at just before 08:00.
The vehicles involved – a Ford Transit Connect, a Dacia and a Ford Focus – are described as ‘write-offs’.
The road remains open, however motorists traveling from Newchurch to Whitely Bank are facing delays in particular.
Recovery of the vehicles has been arranged.
UPDATE @ 09:30 – The incident has now been cleared.
