British Transport Police are this week investigating an incident on the Island’s railway network which resulted in a train window being smashed.
Officers are looking into the possibility that a window on board one of the Island’s ex-London Underground trains was smashed as a result of being shot at by an airgun yesterday evening (Tuesday).
The shocking and rare incident took place at 20:45 near to Brading Station.
British Transport Police (BTP) say there have been several incidents in the area where trains have been damaged.
