Newport’s Red Squirrel Property Shop has been nominated for no less than 4 awards in this year’s Agents Giving Fundraising Champion Awards, with the firm’s boss Charlie Panayi also nominated for an individual award. Agents Giving has announced the much-anticipated shortlist for the 2024 awards, the winners fo which will be announced at a special charity ball on 12th July. Red Squirrel is up for Best Agency CSR, Special Fundraising, Best Fundraising Campaign and Best Creative Fundraising. Separately, Charlie Panayi has been shortlisted for the Best Individual Fundraising award, sponsored by Mint Insurance Brokers. This award, which cannot be entered or applied for, recognises those who go above and beyond for local communities and charities throughout the UK. It was in 2023 that Charlie walked away with the Outstanding Contribution award, as previously reported by Island Echo. Speaking about the nominations, Charlie has said:
“This is a truly proud day for us. “I don’t do what I do for recognition, but it can be challenging at times, especially when the impact on the local community and charities isn’t always visible to those around me. “Receiving this acknowledgment is a wonderful reminder that my efforts are making a difference and motivates us to keep moving forward.
