
With Division 1’s season almost over, Ryde Raiders had a strong win over the siblings of Newport Vics B, with the Raiders’ Timothy Giles named player of the match.
Newport’s Sean and Anna Joyce both scored a win each over Rob Smith and Martin Johnstone respectively.
Meanwhile, fellow Newport team Vics A had a good victory over Havenstreet Hooters, winning 8-2, with Newport’s Dave Hilliam winning all his games and Kevin Gatrell the only player to get on the scoreboard for Havenstreet with 2 wins.

Division 2
Division 2 leaders Newport Vics C made short work of Ryde Raptors, in their first season in the division, with a 9-1 victory, although Ryde’s Spike Hughes did gain a victory of Michael Jose.
Freshwater A continued their fine form as they closed the gap at the top with an 8-2 victory over Shanklin B, although Shanklin’s Ted Purvey played particularly well and was unlucky to only win one game. Freshwater’s Rob Warren was player of the match and leads the players’ averages on 95%.

It’s tight at the top in Division 3, with Ryde Revellers leading by a point over St Lawrence Lizards, after a thrilling match against Ryde Rackets which went on late into the night and ended in a well-deserved draw for both teams.
