Tickets for the exclusive TEDxLukelyBrook event have gone on sale this morning (Friday), enabling people to secure their seats at this world-class event.
The event, to be held in the Anthony Minghella Theatre at Quay Arts on 2nd March, will connect the Island to a global audience like never before. It will be live-streamed worldwide with recordings from the event added to the TEDx Youtube channel which has over 32million subscribers.
The carefully selected line-up of speakers are all leaders in their field – forward thinkers interpreting the event theme of ‘If not now, when?’ from their unique point of view and personal experiences. They will help enlighten us with a deeper understanding of how people think, feel and act.
Speakers taking to the famous round red carpet include Gina London, author and Emmy-winning former CNN correspondent; Mart Drake-Knight, co-founder at Teemill; Clive Loseby, global leader in website accessibility; James Green, global business leader and Kim Davis, who has worked with A-list celebrities including Beyoncé and Marc Jacobs.
Attendees can expect a full day of live TEDtalks in the theatre, access to the Conversation Area to discuss the talks, plus the opportunity to meet the speakers. There will be complimentary refreshments throughout including a light lunch. Demand for tickets is expected to be high.
Alongside the main theatre event, a Watch Party focussing on youth will be held simultaneously in the Trafalgar Room at the Riverside Centre. Due to demand from across the Island’s schools and colleges, attendance at the Watch Party has already been increased to 200 across the day.
Dale Howarth, organiser and curator of the event, says:
“Our speaker line-up is already an impressive one and we still have a couple of speakers to announce, plus some great surprises for those attending this must-see event. It really is an event not to be missed and one that will connect the Island to the world.”
Tickets, including some early-bird tickets at a reduced cost, are available on the official website at www.tedxlukelybrook.com.

This sounds a bit boring.

Does anyone know what’s this, will it help with fuel bills?, who’s Ted anyhow does he come from Wroxhall ?.
