Sydenhams Timber Engineering is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, marking a quarter century of building with purpose, innovation and pride from its engineering centre on the Isle of Wight.
Since opening its doors in the year 2000, the company has designed and supplied timber frame structures for over 4,000 buildings across the UK – from housing developments and schools to hospital extensions, hotels and exceptional self-build homes.
With a dedicated team based at the Isle of Wight Engineering Centre and a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Wickham, Sydenhams Timber Engineering offers a full range of services from structural design through to precision manufacturing and delivery.
Dean Orchard, Managing Director of Sydenhams Timber Engineering, said:
“Reaching 25 years is a real milestone. None of this would have been possible without the commitment, skill and integrity of our team, or the partners who have worked alongside us to bring sustainable buildings to life. The future of construction is low carbon, and timber frame will play a huge part in that transition.”
Over recent years, the company has continued to lead the way in innovation: most notably through the development of its Biogenic Twin Wall System, a pioneering low-carbon timber solution that combines performance, sustainability and design flexibility.
As part of the wider Sydenhams Group, the business is well positioned to deliver large-scale projects with the resources and expertise of a leading construction supplier behind it.
From its Island roots to projects nationwide, Sydenhams Timber Engineering continues to champion sustainable construction and the belief that timber frame buildings are the future.
