Numerous items of furniture – suspected to have been stolen from Sandown last month – have been seized by Police at an address in Ventnor.
Officers arrived at a property on Chestnut Close in Upper Ventnor yesterday evening (Sunday) to conduct a search under Section 32 of the Police & Criminal Evidence Act 1984.
The search was carried out as part of an investigation into the theft of numerous items of furniture from a property on Victoria Road in Sandown, reported to police on 5th November.
Police spent several hours removing the suspects stolen items from the address and into 2 Police vans.
Enquiries into this incident are ongoing.
No arrests have been made at the current time.
Really how low can some people go. Thieving from just normal working people. Really got to wonder about their morale compass.

This out of touch government thinks more of it, than those working and paying revenue into the country, and keeps giving the scum more and more free hanouts who pay in nothing, while robbing the workman of more and more to finance it all.
