A car that was stolen from an address in Newport overnight has been found crashed and abandoned on the downs this morning (Monday).
Police attended the scene in a field at the top of The Downs Road at around 08:50 after a Black Kia Ceed was found damaged on a large piece of land near the junction with Brading Down Road.
The car had been stolen in a burglary at an address on Shide Road in Newport overnight between 22:00 on Sunday and 08:00 this morning.
Anyone with information is asked to call 101 quoting reference number 44220411776.

Wonder how many police vehicles just drove past, again unless Jo public report then can’t act. Must of been many hundreds public passed in rush hour this morning,but as we know you can’t phone police anymore without stuck on hold 20mins and then they want to know about you than what you are reporting.

It is perfectly democratic for a private citizen to say that people shouldn’t vote for a particular party in the next election.
Try that in China, Russia, Iran, etc, and you are likely to, at best, find yourself arrested or, at worst, disappear entirely.

Prisons in the UK full to the brim with the worlds dross as well as ours, so NOW since the mass exodus, no room to jail our own unless they commit even worse crimes than others, and that takes some doing..
