The countdown is on to Heartbeat’s popular ‘Beat the Heat’ curry and quiz night, which is heading to Yarmouth for the first time next week – and there are still a few team spaces left for those wanting to take part in a fun evening for a vital cause.
Next Thursday (16th October), leading cardiac charity Heartbeat will be hosting its ‘Beat the Heat’ curry and quiz night at the Royal Solent Yacht Club in Yarmouth, sponsored by Emerald Elite VA Services Ltd.
This is the second time Heartbeat has hosted its popular quiz on the Island, which was previously held in Ryde in February this year and raised more than £1,200 for the charity.
There are just 5 team spaces left, where teams of up to 6 are invited to put their knowledge to the test and enjoy a night of friendly competition whilst celebrating the leading cardiac charity’s life-saving work. Island Echo has entered a team into this month’s event.
Funds raised will not only support the vital work the charity does, but will also support the Island’s patients and families while staying at Heartbeat House.

“These evenings are not just a night of entertainment but a chance to recognise the services we provide at Heartbeat. As well as funding the work we do as a charity, proceeds from our quiz nights go towards the amazing Rotary Heartbeat House facility that offers a home from home for patients and their families.”

Teams of up to 6 can take part in the quiz, with entry costing £25 per person. The ticket price also includes a curry meal.
