Wightlink has announced that a total of 4 sailings have been cancelled on their Fishbourne-Portsmouth route this coming Friday as a result of staff shortages.
Although the early morning and late evening sailings will no doubt cause considerable disruption to Islanders and visitors alike, it has been said that the problem could have been even worse with even more cancellations. However, the cross-Solent operator has managed to cover some of the shortage – but not all.
The cancelled sailings are:
From Portsmouth: 07:30 and 21:30
From Fishbourne: 08:30 and 22:30
All affected customers have been moved to alternate sailings.
Wightlink have apologised for any inconvenience caused.
