ST MARY’S EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT UNDER PRESSURE WARNS NHS

A high number of people are attending the emergency department at St Mary’s Hospital today (Wednesday), leading to a warning from the Isle of Wight NHS Trust. It’s said that the majority of people attending St Mary’s do require help, with staff prioritising those who need help urgently. This is resulting in longer waits for others. At the time of publishing, the emergency department wait was at 2 hours 20 mins, with a 3-hour wait for the Urgent Treatment Centre. The Isle of Wight Ambulance Service is also said to be facing high demand today. Islanders are urged to use NHS 111 – online and on the phone – as well as local pharmacies and GP services before heading to the hospital. In a genuine emergency, always call 999. The Isle of Wight NHS Trust is also asking friends and family to ensure that loved ones are collected as soon as they are able to be discharged.

Welcome to Tory Brittan, where privatising the NHS is their goal. Got to run it into the ground first before their mates in the private healthcare system get to take over. And believe me you do not want that. Go look what it’s like in the US. It’s insane. There are people having to cut their own limbs off because they can’t afford a doctor or the meds to fix their injury. And it’s not just the poor.

This country is massively over populated, that’s why we struggle with housing, schools, dentists, doctor appointments, ect….Those two globalised idiot parties have created this, thanks Tony Blair and thanks to the present idiots for nothing…

Vote Reform to abolish inheritance tax and scrap planning laws to line the pockets of the multimillionaire property developer Tice. All other policies are the same as those of the Tories.

Surely some of those are doctors though?

The dinghy mob don’t carry any form if identification because if they did they could be returned back to their homelands. Unfortunately some of the legal migrants who claim to be doctors have been found to have fraudulent credentials which can be purchased anywhere in the world. Its the so called patients who make unnecessary visits to the hospitals who cause any backlog. I took a neighbour to the emergency dept on Wednesday, in the waiting room were drunks, druggies and even a young mother who had a very small splinter in a finger.

Probably some are doctors; regular immigrants are, save a lot of money not having to train out own, and furthermore their own country suffers from lack of doctors, win, lose? Not really in long run, but what government plays for the long run, just look for quick vote winners that more often than not play to innate prejudices in their electorate..

Don’t you mean the Isle of Gimme, every county has an aging population. If you don’t know its the generation who have worked hard all of their lives and many of us who have served our country so that people like you can have an easy life. We had to struggle under a Labour government and put up with constant strikes from Labour controlled trade unions. You are obviously too young to have a first hand experience of living under a Labour government.

And you have obviously lived with Rose Coloured Glasses on whilst The Tory’s have Bern stripping this Country of all it’s assets for their friends in private businesses or private health insurance how a Prime Minister who spends more on 3 of his immaculate White shirts than the average British family brings in for mortgage and food and utilities, has the cheek to say it’s getting better?he is as deluded as you are!.My mother 91 a war baby survived being bombed out in Shanklin, worked as a music teacher one of the first working mums amongst friends at that time always paid in for NI all her working life, still fully independent would more vote Conservative than fly to the moon now!and I bet she can remember more Prime ministers than you can?!.

But please explain why as you are insinuating, everyone is poor under a Conservative government. Yet myself and many others who have worked hard all our lives earning average wages have managed to pay off mortgages, have new cars paid by cash and still have substantial savings under a Conservative government. We still managed to struggle whilst under a Labour government with personal cut backs. So perhaps its not government’s that are the problem its the Gimme society.

This is what 14 years of Tory cuts and mismanagement gets you.

Add that the the Island’s burgeoning elderly population (proportion of over 65s up 25% in 10 years) while adult social care is cut back (Tories again) it’s hardly surprising that St Mary’s can’t cope.

Of course, it wouldn’t have anything to do with the total closure, island wide, of all GP surgeries this afternoon for “training”….

That was probably extra training for staff to explain to patients why they don’t need to see a GP. Why not see a ‘wellbeing coach’ instead?

Really? Odd that, I could have sworn austerity was from 2010 to 2015 and it was done under a Conservative-Liberal coalition. Necessary to fix the massive deficit Labour left us. As for the NHS, it’s been broken for at least 50 years. I remember waiting in A@E for 10hrs under the last Labour government.

It’s said that the majority of people attending St Mary’s do require help,

in other words – most of them are time wasters, attention seekers and whiny pathetic individuals that need to get a back bone and sort themselves out.

So what’s new? Don’t worry – they have a cunning plan to free up beds by sending patients home to die. Send them home to the ‘Virtual Home Ward’. Basically a box with a thermometer, blood pressure monitor and pulse oximeter which sends patients own readings by Bluetooth to St Mary’s – where nobody looks at them, and all you get is an answer phone if you try to contact them. Then nobody replies to the Answer phone message. Just sit at home and wait to die.

Because you can’t get a doctors appointment for weeks. And if you’re in need of an doctor after 8.32, all the emergency on the day appointments are gone

More chance of getting past border control than that gestapo receptionist at my docs. Tells you to go to pharmasy when you need to see a doc to get antibiotics which pharmassy won’t give without prescription from doc

So ,what could it be that so many people require medical help, and feel so bad they have to go to hospital? Well I was in the urgent health care unit last week , and because they do the OPS on people while they wait. At least 7 people I counted that had chest pains, and none of them looked older then 60! Good old Az shot,if not? Then explain how?

Because plenty of people under 60 have heart issues. In fact, cardiac problems are far more frequent in those who had COVID than those who were vaccinated. We are seeing that the health consequences of COVID are long-lasting and awful for many.

Probably a bunch of idiot holiday-makers who think that they might have high blood pressure so they go to A & E! That does actually happen a lot.

ITS BECAUSE…nobody is getting any treatment in the community.
GP do not look after our elderly like they used to in their own home or see people in an appropriate time frame.
The public are getting sicker and sicker at home and end up very ill calling an ambulance; WHY do you think the Hospital is overrun !!!

The only way you can see a Doctor nowdays is watch
Carry On Doctor

Since the Plandemic, Doctors have gone shy, personally I think
they are frightened to see their patients eye to eye being what the
vaccines have done to them.

Bit like a Dodgy Car Salesman, once he’s sold someone a dud, he don’t want

Everyone’s throwing their toys out of the pram but would do so equally if NHS was reformed, in Europe (not talking about USA), their healthcare systems are comparable (those who can’t pay don’t pay, as if we don’t pay anyway with national insurance contributions, so it’s not free..), yet they have around twice as many doctors as us for the same cost, the system needs to change but our NHS is the holy grail, cept it’s not. If you have cancer here you.are less likely to survive than most other European countries whether you’re poor or rich, so let’s not start quoting a highly capitalistic inefficient American system,On our doorstep other countries do it better, but average Joe doesn’t even know that so still think of NHS as the bees knees.

The country thinks it needs more immigrants to help our job vacancies.
If we stopped paying out stupid money to Brits who are capable of working to do the jobs we all used to do.
They have made a rod for their own back by making it even easier with mental health, depression anxiety and obesity to have payments made for every known ailment.
We had enough houses 15 years ago but for mass immigration and single mum’s, wanting their God given right to be given a house!
This Council, sorry Masons, think that receiving money to house people from other council areas is a good idea. How shallow and greedy they are.
Try saying no and get the hospital up to a standard where we feel safe going up there.
Get hospital manager to do his job!

Emily? I wouldn’t dare say it normally but from personal experience many times women in authority take everything so personally.. It’s been said that if men are strong in business they are described as assertive, but a woman in the same position is described as a b*tch. It’s not the same though, because in my limited experience and I may just be unlucky, everything is personal with a lot of if not all women.. don’t get mad, get even.. hence b**ch.. Apart from anything else that is not, is not, professional. Then there’s the likes of Paula Vennels obviously promoted above her ability flailing around in a sea of painful obvious abject incompetence..

Go to A&E over the weekend, see how many smackheads are in there because of deliberately self inflicted over doses, and see who will get prioprity over others. The thick as shit DWP are paying this waste of space shite to be in this state all day, but will stop a genuine sick/disabled persons payments and say they can work.

YOUR UNDERSTAFFED because…. you want all potential nursing staff to have a Degree.
You DONT need a degree to be a nurse.
People don’t want the debt incurred while getting the unnecessary degree.
Get real and train nurses on the Island like they used to and attract people who actually want to care for people.
