The Isle of Wight’s biggest Chinese New Year event returns to Robin Hill this February, as Spirit of the Orient celebrates the Year of the Tiger.
With a dazzling array of award-winning illuminations and entertainment, Spirit of the Orient will be bursting with light every evening from 18th-26th February 2022.
Follow the floating lanterns to the top of the ancient woodland and uncover the entrance to the Chinese New Year Show. Chase the evil spirits of the past away with this mesmerising performance of Chinese lion dances, the great dragon procession, and Water Sleeve Dancers accompanied by a unique soundscape. Then follow the 12-metre Dragon on its journey deep into the illuminated woodland and marvel at the stunning light exhibits and large-scale inflatable installations along the way…
