Due to the ongoing closure of Victoria Avenue at the junction with the High Street for roadworks – with St John’s Road being the diversion – motorists are advised to travel via Newport Road, Lake and Canteen Road to access Victoria Avenue from Whitely Bank.
The diversion route is 5.7 miles long and will take an extra 15 minutes.
