36-year-old Hasan Shemsi Hasan has been charged with failing to provide following a crash in Shanklin last night (Monday).
Police were called at 21:52 with reports of a collision involving 3 vehicles on Landguard Road, as first reported by Island Echo.
Officers arrived on scene to find a red Seat Leon had collided with a parked Citoren C3, which was subsequently shunted into the rear of a Mini Clubman.
Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary has confirmed that they arrested and charged a man in connection with last night’s incident.
Hasan Shemsi Hasan, 36, of Westhill Road in Shanklin, has been charged with failing to provide a specimen for analysis.
He has been bailed to appear at Isle of Wight Magistrates’ Court on 2nd May.
If I was in charge you wouldn’t be allowed in my country
Throw the book at him for not providing…scummy drunken scumbag
Who?? Probably no insurance/tax/ mot/ I as probably everyone else reading this is sick and tired of this?? He will get a slap on the wrist and let off, who pays for the other vehicles he’s damaged maybe written off as we all know car insurance will not give them a new car! Make this stupid idiot pay out of his pocket, ban him from driving.
If nothing to hide, why not provide.
Another typical Caulkhead
Lol
Ahhhh cultural enrichment is still working then, break our laws, boot him out of the country
Shanklin man? Good old Isle of Wight name..
The way things are going it will be a local
name in the future.
Failing to provide should come with an instant maximum ban from driving, a crushed car (looks like it will be scrapped anyway), the value of the scrap given to the Mountbatten hospice.
If nothing to hide, why not provide.
