Hundreds of Santas are set to descend on Ryde seafront once again this December as the Isle of Wight Santa Dash returns, raising vital funds for Mountbatten Isle of Wight and the Isle of Wight Prostate Cancer Support Group.
The festive fundraiser, organised by Ryde & District Round Table, will take place on Sunday 7th December, with the Dash beginning at 11:00 from Ryde Superbowl.
Participants can choose between a 5km or 2km route, both of which are open to runners, walkers, families and even dogs.
Those taking part will follow a scenic route towards Seaview before returning to the finish line, where medals and complimentary mulled wine await.
Building on the success of last year’s event, the Santa Dash will also feature a host of festive extras including the chance to take photos with Santa in his sleigh, a charity raffle and discounted games of 10 Pin Bowling and LaserQuest. Hot food and refreshments will be available throughout the day.

Registration opens from 09:30 to 10:30 at Ryde Superbowl, where participants can collect their Santa suits ahead of the 11:00 start.
