The annual Sandown November Celebrations event, which was due to take place tomorrow (Saturday), has unfortunately been cancelled for 2019.
Organisers have this evening announced that the fun-packed day, which normally concludes with a firework finale, will not be taking place.
Tomorrow’s poor weather forecast for high winds, rain and high tides has led to the decision being made. An amber weather warning is in place, as first reported by Island Echo.
