Division 1
Ryde D’s junior players performed well in their match against Havenstreet A, with Ryan Cates player of the match, winning all 3 of his games, whilst Lewis Johnstone won one. Following their 7-3 victory, Ryde D now lie 2nd in the table behind leaders Ryde A, who had an easy 10-0 win over Havenstreet B. The 4 Ryde teams now fill the top four places with Newport Vics A in 5th.

Division 2

The match of the week was between Ryde Rascals and Ryde Rangers with years of experience on show and a long night of close games ensued. The Rascal’s Peter Clarke was player of the match, but his teammates Brian Voller and Stephen Gibbons secured the victory for the Rascals with a 5-set win over the Ranger’s Alan Burch and Alan Dennis, with the score ending at 6-4.

Division 3
In Division 3, St Lawrence Lizards overtook Shorwell Spinners for the top spot after their 6-4 victory, but Shorwell’s Steve Fairclough was unlucky not to end St Lawrence Lizard’s Derek Pittard’s 100% record this season, in a 5-set thriller.
