RYDE SECURE 2 STRONG WINS IN COMPETITIVE WEEK OF TABLE TENNIS ACTION

Ryde Royals had 2 good wins within 5 days in Divsion 1, beating Ryde Rivals (9-1) and Ryde Raiders (7-3).

Both Hugh Idle and Ricky Lock were in fine form for the Royals in both matches. The Royals maintain second place in the league just 4 points behind the leaders, Ryde A, with Ryde Raiders just 3 points behind in 3rd place.

Division 2

Havenstreet Locos lead this division, with both Graham Evans and Bernie Forward in fine form, winning their 3 games recently against Ryde Red Kites. There was a close match between the 2nd and 3rd place teams, with Ryde Relics narrowly beating Shanklin Skuas, to lead them by just 5 points in the division. Havenstreet Locos are a further 5 points in front.

It is good to see some new players who have joined the league this season playing well in this division. Ryde Rustics and Newport Vics C. continue to dominate this division, with just 3 points separating the teams at the top.
