Ryde C tightened their grip on the Division One title race with a commanding 9–1 victory as Ryde A remained second and Ryde Rankers edged a dramatic match of the week.
Match of the week in Division One saw bottom side Ryde Revellers take on third-placed Ryde Rankers in a closely fought contest.
British Senior Club League player Steve Mills secured 3 comfortable victories for the Revellers, while team-mate Gourav Shah produced a fine performance to defeat Elaine Mills in a 5-set thriller. However, the Rankers proved too strong across the remaining games and sealed a 6–4 win following a straightforward doubles victory.
At the top of the table, Ryde C extended their lead with a dominant 9–1 win over Ryde B, with Alex Rorke claiming the B team’s only point.
Ryde A stayed in second place thanks to a solid 7–3 victory over Havenstreet A, with Scott Lawson and Mark Turner both unbeaten for the hosts.

Havenstreet B moved up into third place after an emphatic 8–2 win over Newport Vics B, who slipped to fourth. Paul White and Carl Rye were both unbeaten for Havenstreet.
Ryde Rising Stars climbed into second place following a 7–3 victory against Shorwell Sinners. Cadet player Thane Taylor went unbeaten and also combined with fellow cadet Theo Lewis to secure the doubles.
Ryde Retailers and Ryde Rovers played out the most exciting encounter of the week, sharing the points in a 5–5 draw. Paul Cates was in excellent form for the Retailers, going unbeaten, while Chris Stringer won two matches for the Rovers and partnered William Paul to take the doubles.
At the summit, Newport Vics A increased their lead to 20 points after a flawless 10–0 victory over Ryde Resisters.

Bottom side Wroxall Warriors C secured their first win of the season with a 6–4 success against Shorwell Saviours.
Father-and-son pairing James and Joshua Helyer were both in fine form in their singles and then combined to win the doubles and clinch the match.
Cowes Baptists moved into third place following an 8–2 victory over Wroxall Lizards, with John Featherstone and Mark Compton both unbeaten.
Leaders Wroxall Warriors A extended their advantage at the top to 25 points after a convincing 9–1 win against Shorwell Saints.
