Ryde Beach Lifeguards have taken delivery of their new quad bike, which will help keep beachgoers safe in the 2022 Summer season and beyond.
The Yamaha All Terrain Vehicle (ATV) – more commonly known as a quad bike – will support Ryde Beach Lifeguards in the delivery of their beach safety service for Ryde Town Council.
The ATV will enable lifeguards to safely tow their Inshore Rescue Boat, as well as responding to serious incidents across Ryde Sands.
Ryde’s lifeguards will also be working in partnership with the Town Council to help set up and pack away sun loungers and deck chairs.
