Ryde A have been confirmed as the runaway champions of the IWTTA League 2022/2023 season with a 21-point gap separating them and 2nd-placed Ryde C.
With 1 more match left to play, against Havenstreet A, who lie in the bottom 3, Ryde A are expected to increase their final points tally. With 3rd placed Ryde D due to play a final match against 2nd-from-bottom Shanklin Skuas, they could take the runners up spot from Ryde C.
Whatever happens in that match, Ryde Table Tennis Club have taken the top 4 spots this season, showing the wealth of talent amongst their many members.
Scott Lawson of Ryde A is unbeaten this season and tops the players’ averages table, with Ryde C’s Alex Rorke second on 94% win average, whilst Ryde A’s Mark Turner lies on 85% in 3rd.

Division 2 runaway winners are Newport Vics B who had an outstanding season, winning all their matches and finishing an incredible 41 points ahead of their nearest rivals, Ryde Rascals, who themselves had a particularly good season, with a 15 point gap over 3rd placed Ryde Relatives.
Vics B’s Rob Warren, Dave Newnham and Barry Joyce take the top 3 spots in the players’ averages table, with Warren on 97%, Newnham on 96.5% and Joyce on 94%.
