Ryde A have kept the Division 1 title race alive with a decisive 8–2 victory over 3rd-placed Ryde Rankers as Ryde C extended their lead at the top.
Ryde A continued their pursuit of table-topping Ryde C with an authoritative 8–2 win against third-placed Ryde Rankers.
Scott Lawson was the standout performer for the A team, going unbeaten on the night, although Hugh Idle pushed him all the way in a thrilling 5-set encounter. Idle and Graham Evans secured the Rankers’ two points, both defeating Pat Thorley in deciding sets.
Leaders Ryde C maintained their advantage at the summit with a comfortable 9–1 victory over Havenstreet A, with Roger Hookey claiming Havenstreet’s sole point in a five-set win against Joseph Chapman. Ryde C now sit 15 points clear, although Ryde A still have a game in hand.

There was no debate in the Newport derby as Newport Vics A swept aside their B team 9–1 to further strengthen their grip on top spot.
Newport Vics B remain second but are now being chased by Ryde Rising Stars, who sit just 1 point behind with a match in hand.
In a closely fought village clash, Havenstreet B defeated Shorwell Sinners 7–3, with Paul White and Mike Prior both going unbeaten.

It was a week of contrasting fortunes for the Wroxall teams across Division 3.
Wroxall Warriors A extended their lead at the top with a flawless 10–0 victory over Wroxall Lizards, while Wroxall C were beaten 9–1 by second-placed Newport Vics C, despite an excellent win by 13-year-old Joshua Helyer against top-ranked Chris Gordine.
