UPDATED: A small number of homes and businesses in the Blackwater and Gatcombe areas are without power this morning (Monday) following an overnight power cut.
At just before 04:00 power was lost in the areas to the South of Newport, including Chillerton.
Southern and Scottish Energy engineers are working to rectify the issue but supplies are not expected to be restored until 11:00.
The following postcodes remain without power: PO30 1YR; PO30 1YS; PO30 3DX; PO30 3DY; PO30 3DZ and PO30 3EA.
UPDATE @ 13:00 – Power has been restored to all properties affected with no other reported issues across the Island.
