
Police have re-issued their appeal for information as to the whereabouts of 45-year-old Robert Gibson, who went missing almost a year ago.
At 15:00 on Monday 13th June 2016, Robbie Gibson left his home in Gipsy Hill, Norwood, Greater London and was seen later that day in the Co-operative store on Central Hill, Gipsy Hill.
Police received a confirmed sighting of Robert at 18:45 that day catching the Wightlink catamaran from Portsmouth to Ryde, here on the Isle of Wight. He is then believed to have boarded a train at Ryde Pier Head towards Lake and Shanklin.
The last sighting of Robert was at the Co-Op store in Shanklin.
Despite detailed searches of Luccombe and Ventnor by Police, HM Coastguard and WightSAR, Mr Gibson has not been located.
Robert is described as white, 6ft tall, of slim build with grey/silver hair. He wears black rimmed Prada glasses. He was last seen wearing a blue/grey T-shirt with green/brown khaki trousers.
