A cyclist is being tended to by paramedics after being knocked off their bike in Cowes this afternoon (Wednesday).
Police and paramedics from the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service are currently on scene at Victoria Road.
The road is blocked in both directions.
Southern Vectis says its Route 1 buses are diverting from the Park and Ride via Three Gates Road, Place Road and Park Road until further notice.
UPDATE @ 17:09 – Victoria road has now reopened with Route 1 buses returning to a normal route.
It was initially believed the casualty was a motorcyclist, but it has now been confirmed that the rider was in fact on a push bike.
