Rew Valley Youth Football Club is asking members of the local community to use the football ground respectfully after a recent spate of vandalism.
The club are happy for people to keep active by kicking a ball around or taking a stroll, but they ask that it is done so with respect. Over the past few weeks, there have been a number of occasions where damage has been done to the pitch and nearby shed store.
Unfortunately, unknown individuals have taken it upon themselves to light fires using the club’s wood supply, have painted white lines across the field and have broken into the club’s shed on more than one occasion.
A spokesperson for Rew Valley YFC has said:
“We all work hard to make sure we have a clean and safe environment for the children to use, so please please think again before causing damage”.
