Retained firefighters from Ryde have tackled 2 small fires over the past 12 hours.
1 appliance was mobilised to Slade Road in Oakfield at 20:15 last night (Friday) when a fire broke out in amongst shrubbery near to Oakfield Football Club.
At 03:00 this morning another appliance was turned out to a second small fire, this time in the garden of a property in Winston Avenue, Binstead.
Firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish the fires on both occasions.
