RESIDENTS in the sleepy town of Arreton appealed a developer’s plans to extend the village by up to 75% on Tuesday.
It was unanimously agreed to object the plans for 89 new homes to be built near to Haseley Manor, just off of the main Newport-Sandown road.
It is understood that Police were in attendance at the meeting due to the potential threat of anti-social behaviour.
