Shanklin & Sandown Golf Club held their annual Pro-Am event recently with 30 teams taking part together with Professional Golfers from Hampshire, Middlesex and China.
The eventual winning team had a fantastic score of 117 (23 under par) – they were John Rich, Joe Goodey, Bill Humphreys and professional Nathan Cooke.
Second with a score of 118 were Chris Reed, Phil Ledger, Derek Brown and professional from Sandford Springs, Chris Blunden.
The Professional course record was also broken by the winning individual Professional, with scores of 71 and 63 (total 134) by Chris Blunden of Sandford Springs.
