The event was hosted by Ali Hinde of Ali’s Fitness Fusion, which is based on the Island. Ali is currently the Regional National Fitsteps Instructor of the Year and runs classes in Binstead, Wootton, Camp Hill, and Arreton. Fitness presenter Ian Parker has over 30 years of experience and has been training Fisteps’ instructors since their creation in 2013.
The Fitsteps session was in support of Wessex Cancer Trust IOW. Volunteers arranged a raffle – with donations from many Island companies – together with a pre-loved fitness clothing stall.
In total, £1,700 was raised for Isle of Wight Wessex Cancer Trust, to support Islanders and their families with cancer, including providing the Daisy Bus from the Red Jet to Southampton Hospital for those attending appointments.
