UPDATED: Police and HM Coastguard are in attendance at Culver Down near Sandown this evening (Tuesday).
Several Police officers are situated at the cliff top alongside Bembridge Coastguard Rescue Team.
Ventnor Coastguard Rescue Team are also in attendance at the nearby Yaverland car park and the Coastguard helicopter from Lee-on-Solent is circling overhead.
It is thought concerns have been raised for the welfare of an individual.
UPDATE @ 20:55 – Police and ambulance crews have joined HM Coastguard at Yaverland, where it is thought the individual has been found safe and well.
Coastguard officers are now standing down from the incident.
