UPDATED: A motorcyclist has been injured following a collision with a Police car in East Cowes this morning (Thursday).
The incident occurred at around 06:30 at the Saunders Way roundabout near to GKN (Osborne).
The biker, a male in his 20s, has been conveyed to St Mary’s Hospital by Ambulance. His injuries are not thought to be serious.
It is unknown if the Police car was responding to an emergency call at the time of the crash.
Emergency services have now left the scene and traffic is flowing as normal as rush hour hits.
UPDATE @ 12:35 – Hampshire Constabulary have confirmed that a Police car has sustained minor damage has a result of the collision.
