40-year-old Graham Smith, 39-year-old Timothy Brown and 29-year-old Louise Spence have all appeared before the Isle of Wight Crown Court accused of committing a burglary in Ryde just days after Christmas, stabbing the occupant and stealing drugs in the process.
The trio pleaded not guilty to the charges of aggravated burglary and wounding with intent when they appeared before a judge this morning (Monday). They will now appear before the Isle of Wight Crown Court for the trial on 15th June 2020.
As exclusively revealed by Island Echo, forensic investigators were called in last month to examine a bloody crime scene as Armed Police conducted Island-wide searches for 3 suspects following an incident at Leavington House on East Hill Road, Ryde on 27th December.
Brown, Spence and Smith were all eventually tracked down and arrested. They are accused of entering a flat and stealing cash and drugs to the value of £1,500, as well as attacking an occupant with a knife.

Oh, it was all accidental then, the victim fell on his own knife after all. Double the sentence for lying.
Have you ever heard of ” innocent until proven guilty ” people not knowing the full story and making it up is very frustrating.
These people obviously need help and have had tough childhoods. Sometimes a hug and love can help these people. To much hate in this world!
“and have had tough childhoods”. Behave mate, the druggies I have met in life have mostly had normal childhoods and just lack guidance from family or their family actively allowed it.The “Family of five dream” did not exist and does not exist. If you came from a stable law abiding family with a mum and dad and either a brother or sister then you’re in the minority. And has been like this for a long time.
