Forensic investigators have been called in to examine a bloody crime scene as Armed Police conduct searches for a woman following a serious incident in Ryde last night (Friday).
Police have cordoned off parts of Leavington House on East Hill Road where specialist scenes of crime investigators from the mainland are carrying out a forensic search of a flat this afternoon.
A trail of blood can be seen at the entrance to the block of flats where Island Echo understands a male was seriously injured last night, prompting an emergency response to the scene sometime around 20:00. The man’s condition is unknown at this time.
The incident – the details of which remain sketchy – prompted Armed Police from the mainland to be rushed across the Solent to assist local firearms officers.
As first reported by Island Echo, armed officers descended on Station Road in Brading at around 21:30 last night. Further searches involving the armed response unit have taken place today with a re-visit to Brading and a visit to a property on Newport Road, Upper Ventnor.
Island Echo is told officers are looking for a local woman in her 20s. It is unknown if any other persons are being sought at this time.
Hampshire Constabulary have been approached for a statement this afternoon.

where is the picture of this woman that has assaulted this man – we have seen plenty of pictures and a swift arrest of that guy for bottling that girl, so I expect the same level of police activity tracking down this woman – come on, get her picture online.

Could it be a lead lined water tank driving the residents insane and then committing vile crimes ?
Sounds like you need to check your tank
