Red Funnel’s hi-speed Red Jet service is now operating to a normal 2-boat timetable as Red Jet 4 and Red Jet 7 return.
On 24th January, Red Jet 4 was pulled from the fleet due to high-pressure alarms being activated on the starboard engine. It has been out of action since, but following repairs undertaken by specialist marine contractors and engineers, Red Jet 4 is now available for service.
It has also been confirmed that Red Jet 7 has successfully completed her annual docking and associated maintenance work. As a result, a full timetable has been reinstated using Red Jet 6 and Red Jet 7.
