A 2-car collision on a busy roundabout caused traffic delays earlier this afternoon (Saturday).
It was at around 15:15 that Police were called to the collision on Downend Roundabout.
At the scene a Ford Fiesta collided with a Volkswagen, leaving both with front-end damage.
Traffic in the area built in the immediate aftermath of the crash however the involved vehicles were quickly moved to the side of the road, reducing congestion in the area.
Southern Vectis buses route 8 buses were delayed for a short time.
Police have confirmed that thankfully, there were no injuries reported.



























































































No injuries and miraculously no damage to the traffic lights.
Did they ever catch the numpty who smashed the
Lake traffic lights, or was he hired to cause congestion
